In 1907 the Escher & Wyss shipyard in Zurich launched the “Bisbino” steamship, thus starting the passenger service of the steamer and after more than 70 years of service it was decommissioned along the Como dam.
Only in the early 90s was it transformed into a conference center and after being passed by several owners, finally Il “Bisbino” was moored in Tremezzo on the lakefront in front of Villa Carlotta and Alice Lommi with her family decided to invest in a piece important of the lake tradition by offering lounge bar services and at the same time also a space for emerging and established artists resulting with the passing of time one of the most unique and original places on Lake Como.
